and go to work just like everybody else. Gay people can be found
in virtually every occupation and career field.
Positively
gay Christians consider the work they do in their careers as an act of
worship to God. Because their work is an act of worship, they
treat their jobs seriously and perform their duties conscientiously.
Being in a closet takes a chunk of emotional energy. Time and energy is spent keeping people from knowing who one really is. Many positively gay Christians feel they need to be out at work, so they have more energy to effectively do their work. This can have a positive influence in the work place. Being out at work is being real and transparent. When colleagues are real at work, others feel able to be real and transparent, allowing their real needs to be better met.
