Family:
Because
queer people are born, not hatched, gay, lesbians, and bisexuals have
families. They have parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and
nephews. In some cases, gays and bisexuals have children and
grandchildren. Gays
and bisexuals are not enemies of families.
Queer Christians appreciate families. They attempt to satisfy their
family obligations. Many gays and bisexual form their own families
through same-sex marriages, legalized unions, holy unions
or long-term relationships. Some gays and bisexuals create families of choice of close friends and are fiercely loyal to their families of choice.
