Proverbs 4:14-19

Proverbs 4:14-19 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble (KJV).

Reflection

Very kind, godly people may feel they have not had a productive day unless they did something to touch somebody’s life. They might send an encouraging email, so they know they touched a life that day.

A few people are the opposite of kind, godly people. Wicked people cannot rest unless they know they harmed somebody that day. These wicked people are content only when they have caused problems. Everywhere they go, they create drama, do mischief, or attempt to break the law. Wicked people, who are bent on spreading hurt wherever they are, are bad news. They are to be avoided, and their paths are to be avoided.
