Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (KJV).
Reflection
At first glance, the ways of the religious right seem right to some Christians. The Bible seems to support their critical comments. And many people find their assumption that that sexual orientation is a choice convincing.
But their stinging condemnations of gay and bisexual are based on graceless interpretations of the Bible, interpretations that make God look harsh. These faulty interpretations are not the ways of life. The ways of the religious right stand in stark contrast with Jesus, who associated with ordinary people and the outcasts of society. Jesus brought the Kingdom of God to those who felt rejected by the religious establishment.
