Wisdom is better than riches, because a wise person can earn a fortune and because wisdom can help prevent heartache. A foolish rich person will not be rich very long. The smell of money tends to attract sharks. Money cannot keep a person from experiencing unnecessary pain. Wise people avoid evil. The heart is preserved from a lot of needless pain when evil is avoided.
