Proverbs 15:12-14

Proverbs 15:12-14 A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise 13A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. 14The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness (KJV).

Reflection

You can tell what is in a person's heart. The heart shines through the face and the eyes. People who are in deep pain often show the depth of their physical or emotional pain in their eyes or on their face. Angry people show their anger in their facial expression and in their eyes.

All of the people we come in contact with each day read our faces, read our eyes. In our eyes and on our faces they see our hearts. When our faces show the joy of the resurrected Jesus, when our eyes show the depth of the Savior's love, we have a witness people will read with more interest than they will read the Bible. Be a loving, cheerful Bible today.
