God knows all about destruction, about the final resting place for people. God knows even more about our hearts.
You may have a favorite movie star, musician, singer, or athlete. Many people follow the life of a famous celebrity. They purchase magazines with articles about the celebrity, and try to keep up on the latest news, gossip, and rumors about that person's life. A person's devotion to a celebrity is a sign of love and respect for the celebrity.
God knows all about you. Just as you might collect celebrity photos and articles about a loved celebrity, God collects snapshots of you and stories about your life. God follows your life, year-by-year, event-by-event, day-by-day, hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute, second-by-second. The fact that God knows all about you is an assurance of God's love. The God who created you, redeemed you, sanctifies you, and comforts you, knows all about you. The Creator watches you just as much as God watches straight people.
The Redeemer saves you, God's gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-identified, and queer Christian, and protects you for the heavenly. The Comforter walks with all of the Lord's queer and questioning children. Each time somebody smiles at you, shows you kindness, or embraces you, the Comforter's caring heart is seen. The human acts of kindness in your life are God's way of embracing your heart with love.
