The Vomit Awards - James Dobson

James Dobson is the founder of the large Christian ministry, Focus on the Family. The Colorado Springs, Colorado organization is well-known for holding very homo-negative, and homophobic views. This is the second time James Dobson and Focus on the Family are receiving an award.

In a 2009 video, James Dobson opposed the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Bill, which would extend hate crimes protection to gay men and lesbians.

James Dobson, for opposing the protection of sexual minorities from hate crimes, and for being an unintentional ally of those who beat up and murder gay and bisexual people, we award you with the "You Make Jesus Vomit" award.
